Obama is Pushing Through Another Major Item on his Agenda Whether Republicans Like it or not. Why, It's Deja Vu all Over Again. Why, It's Deja Vu all Over Again. Is There an Echo in Here? But Wait, What's This? Suddenly, I Have a Change of Heart for Some Reason. I Hate Obama Now! Booo, Hissssss!

Washington (CNN) -- Democrats won a major victory in their push for health care reform early Monday morning as the Senate voted to end debate on a package of controversial revisions to a sweeping $871 billion bill.

The senate voted 60 to 40 to push through Obama's federal health care expansion plan very early this morning to the total & complete opposition of the republican house minority, garnering enough votes to negate the chance of a GOP fillibuster. It sounds to me as though they have learned nothing from when they tried to oppose Obama's economic stimulus package way back when in February. Which, by the way, appears to be working, given the general mayhem of this holiday shopping season. You can go to Target, Wal-Mart, Toys-R-Us or most any other retail shopping outlet & there is barely room to navigate through the aisles & displays & then good luck finding finding the fucking Crayola crayon maker or God forbid, a Hannah Montana doll for your 6 year old daughter. So, that's one down & up next on the agenda, health care reform. Now, I'm as skeptical as anybody, but again, I'm willing to wait & see what the actual result is going to be because the wheels has done been set into motion already. I'm sure the republicans realize by now that there is nothing they can do about it so they're just going to continue to tell us how opposed to it they are & if they're wrong about this one, they will practically be handing Obama a re election in 2012, Afghanistan notwithstanding. Talk about burning bridges @ any cost, they don't seem to care if they look like fools or not, just as long as they make it clear that they are opposed to everything Obama is trying to do for the American people. It's like the entire party has turned into Sarah Palin, who, for some reason, seems to be becoming the face of the republican party. Super idea guys, you just go ahead & ride that strange torpedo right to the end & see where it gets you, maybe even unto your salvation or more likely, your demolition. Morons.

Obama made it a special point to take a big swipe @ the people who will still make an assload of money off of this plan, but still oppose it. "By standing up to the special interests who prevented reform for decades and who are furiously lobbying against it now, the Senate has moved us closer to reform that makes a tremendous difference for families, for seniors, for businesses, and for the country as a whole," he told reporters @ the White House. Even the AMA supports it after years of staunch opposition. I guess when someone finally decides to bring the right kind of reform to the table, it makes it easier for smart people to finally support it. A great deal of the opposition lies in people thinking it will a) raise their taxes &/or b) raise their premiums due to the plan requiring insurance carriers to cover people with pre existing conditions though Obama & the non partisan Congressional Budget office who did a study of it claim that it will extend health coverage to over 30 million Americans, it will also help to reduce the deficit. I can believe the first part but again, I'm a little skeptical on the second. This has to be paid for somehow & my guess is more money will come out of the American people's pockets then this administration is estimating. As I've said before though, I'm willing to kick in some to help a lot of people who need to be able to take their kids to the doctor do so, & everyone else better be willing to do that too, because now it's inevitable. I guess from all I've heard & read, the thing this is bugging me the most is the fact that Harry Reid decided to pull the plug on the public health insurance option, thinking that particular compromise would make the republicans less opposed to it. We all saw how that turned out. On top of that, they are also expanding Medicare to make it available to people as young as 55, which I personally think could be a good thing. & after all, we've all been paying into the medicare system our whole lives, so we might as well start being able to benefit from it @ an earlier age. Makes sense in it's conception, let's see if it matches up to the reality in the end. I've said it before & I'll say it again, Obama, I believe in you & want you & your plans to succeed....but I, like a lot of people, are a little frightened. Don't let us down or you will guarantee an even more special interest minded group of conservatives take it all back in 2010 & 2012. Yeesh, the very thought of it makes me want to spray projectile chunks all the way from Texas to our nation's capital. & who does that benefit? Nobody, that's who.

Oh, & speaking of the inordinate amount of criticism that Obama is currently being subjected to for increasing the amount of troops in Afghanistan by the people who are largely responsible for us being there in the 1st place....Are you sure you want to go there? So, we should just go ahead & pull out, huh? What's different now? Why was it a winnable war when Bush was in there but now it isn't? & if it was winnable, then, why couldn't we win? Ah, that's right, because a fucking criminal who was making money hand over fist from the war was @ the helm. But, now that Bush & Cheney & all those warmongering jackwads can no longer profit from it, we need to get out, like, pronto, man. It's becoming pretty obvious to me now though that the entire war & everything leading up to it including 9/11 is Obama's fault anyway, so let us just call a spade a spade & be done with it already. I mean, his middle name is Hussein after all so surely he is the one responsible for all the W.M.D.'s in Iraq as well, & now, he's president? Oh lordy lord, it's a sad state of affairs when a good & decent christian like Bush is getting bad mouthed by the liberal media & fuckers like Obama are not only roaming around the countryside like free range chickens, they are holding positions @ the highest level of government! It's an outrage. I feel a tea bag party coming on & it can't get here a moment too soon coz' this is bullshit! I am serious this time, the more I analyze it, the more convinced I am that Bush should've been given a 3rd term, or better yet, abolish term limits & become El Presidente' para vida! God knows we could use him now, what with all the turmoil old Barack what's his name? is causing, trying to fix the economy & health care & make life better & easier for all Americans & not just the rich ones. What a grade A number 1 asshole. I am personally growing weary of his Robin Hood mentality. I believe that the rich should be able to keep all of their money, no matter what they had to do to get it, whether it was honestly, or by criminal means; I just don't care. By the way, I just won $100 million dollars in the lottery, & now that I'm wealthy, I don't care about people anymore, only money, & let me tell you, it feels great. It just feels super terrific to be able to a) buy whatever the hell I want, b) buy my way out of whatever kind of trouble I happen to get myself into & c) & maybe the greatest thing of all, to be able to buy people (up to & including slaves) & not even have to have a conscience about it. I even take back all the stuff I've been saying about helping people, too. What'd people ever do for me? Wow, money really does change everything, including your perspective.

Yes sir, obscene wealth is so goddamned liberating, I'm even considering becoming a born again evangelical christian, so that in the event I ever do feel a little bit guilty about fucking someone over in order to get richer, I'll just donate some money to Benny Hinn or some other cash driven church & all will be forgiven. Why, with that much cabbage, I'll no doubt have a direct line to God himself & will be able to order forgiveness on demand, sort of like pay per view...only better. Let's see you have that kind of clout with the lord Mr. so called President Obama, I don't see it happening. God doesn't like socialist assholes like yourself anyway, so suck on that! Man, it feels great to be better than everyone else, or @ least be better than all those poor shmucks with no money. Screw the poor! Screw the homeless! Screw the liberals! But, mostly, screw anyone who doesn't think exactly like me or share my beliefs. Who needs you? Not me, that's who. You can all kiss my ass now, right after you clean my house & rake up my leaves that is, & don't worry, I'll throw an extra $5 dollars in there for ya. Go and buy yourself something nice....like some food, for instance. You people like food, right? Yeah, I thought so. I am sooo awesome. Maybe some day you'll get the privilege of meeting me, or @ the very least, having the honor of cleaning my pool. Do a good job & I might not even spit on you. What can I say, that's just the kind of Joe I am, the kind of Joe what don't always spit on his underlings depending on what kind of mood he's in. Well, I could sit & talk down to you people all day, but I've gotta' go, that bitch from the country club who wouldn't give me the time of day before is blowing up my Blackberry, trying to get me to join. Ya'll have yourselves a Merry Christmas now...Stinking peasants.
